During this month the company has been constantly employed in scouting in the section of country east & north of Bowling Green Kentucky extending to &beyond Glasgow & to Woodsonville on Green River, visiting in the mean time all the little villages in the section named, and all that portion of the Company able to do duty was engaged in the skirmish at Rowlett's Station near Woodsonville on the 17th having one horse wounded slightly & one gun destroyed. [Ky] having the stock &c shot to pieces, also in a little skirmish with the enemy's pickets at the "burnt bridge" & ford on Green River at the crossing of the Bardstown turnpike killing according to neighbourhood report two of the enemy & wounding several.
