I certify that I have carefully examined Geo. Q. Turner (Topographical engineer, Harrison's Staff) and find him unfit for Service, because of ch. Diarrhaea. I therefore recommend that he be sent to hospital at Rome, Ga. for treatment.

Dear Sir:
Pvt. Geo. Q. Turner Co. C 8 Texas Cavy - quite feeble with chronic Diarrhea
of long standing and of strenuous character - is furloughed to Mobile - He
will spend a few days rest in Atlanta and I commend him to your care - You
will find him a clever gentleman worthy of any attention to his comfort you
may be able to give him.
