George Q. Turner's discharge

SOLDIER'S DISCHARGE

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.

Know Ye, That Geo. Q. Turner, a Private of Captain M. L. Evans Company, "C" First Regiment of Texas Rangers, who has enlisted the 18th day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty one, to serve during the war is hereby HONORABLY discharged from the Army of the Confderate States.

Said Geo. Q. Turner was born in the City of Mobile in the State of Alabama, is thirty three years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, Fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, and by occupation when enlisted, a Stock raiser.

Given at Camp Terry, KY. this Eighth day of January, 1862
