B. F. Hick's Letter to General Wheeler

General Wheeler,
Sir I wish to get your assistance if you please in aiding one to find my little son 15 years of age. He was [decoided] off from Griffin Georgia by a man by the name of Burney or Barney Texas Rangers, Company B Whartons Command. You will confer me a greate favor if you will assist me. He left Griffin last Monday for Dalton. I think he can be found with Calvary Cavelry at Tunnelvill.
