Felix H. Corbell 75 years old, early day circuit rider and a member of of the famous band of Terry's Rangers, died at 6'oclock Thursday morning at the Masonic Home for the aged at Keystone stop on the Dallas Interurban.
Corbell was a childhood friend and playmate of ex-Governor Joseph D. Sayers, according to friends, and they joined the Masonic Lodge together, according to friends. Corbell spent his youth, and early manhood in Bastrop and Caldwell countied, but later as a circuit rider became well known over the state. In August 1861, he joined Captain Steve Ferrel's, company, which later became Terry's Rangers. He served the entire four years of the war.
He is survived by a widow and three daughters all living in Texas. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
