Brooks, Pete Kendall, Thos Burney, Wm Owen, and myself. Griffin Kennedy has not been with us in capacity of a soldier since we took Murfresboro he was wounded at that time and has made a cripple of him for life ..."; action in Franklin; death of VanDorn; death of James (?)]
