Harrison Tankersley
Born April 4, 1841, in Sumter County Alabama
Died June, 1 1908
Member of the Terry's Rangers 8th Texas Cavalry Regiment.
The other side of the tombstone reads.
J. Glassell Smith
Born May 18, 1837 in Orange County, Va.
Died July 4, 1908
The front of the tombstone has a confederate flag on it with the following words
TWO GREAT FRIENDS!
Clinton Terry
Born Hinds County, Miss. In 1821
"Was mortally wounded at Shiloh April 6, 1862, while gallantly leading a charge of Terrys Rangers."
Aureoles Terry
buried next to Clinton Terry, his tombstone said he was a member of the Mexican and American War and Civil War.
Col. B. F. Terry
A State Historical Marker states that Col. B. F. Terry, organizer of Terry's Texas Rangers, was formerly buried here but is most likely erroneous.
