Resided at Springfield, Limestone County, TX in 1860 with W. R. Brooks, Co. C; occupied as a herdsman.

Mustered into Company C at Houston, TX on September 12, 1861.
Suffered face and shoulder wound at Shiloh, TN on April 6, 1862.
Present in June 1863.
Left near Lebanon, AL in October 1863 due to illness.

Died by 1882, according to Claiborne.
