Born in AL around 1841.
Resided with parents and 5 siblings in Montgomery, Montgomery County, TX.
Employed as a mechanic.

Mustered in with Company K in Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Missing near Sewanee, TN on July 4, 1863, supposed captured and possibly wounded.
May have regained regiment by october 1863 when Claiborne records he was captured and possibly wounded near McMinnville, TN.
Forwarded to Camp Morton, IN.
Died from chronic diarrhea while imprisoned on January 22, 1865.
