Resided in Matagorda County, TX.
Enlisted at age 21 in Hostston during september 1861.
Transferred to Company G at Bowling Green, KY in November, 1861.
Wounded and Discharged in June 1863.
Captured August 1863 at Murfreesboro, TN.
Last reported as sent to Camp Chase in September 1863.
Died in Rock Island, IL prison camp Feb. 24, 1865.
