Born in Calhoun County, GA on March 24, 1844. (Other sources
indicate 1843 and 1848.)
Moved to TX in 1849.
Resided at Montgomery, Montgomery County, TX in 1860 with three siblings and
relatives; occupied as a farmer.
Mustered into Company K at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Hospitalized in July and August 1862 due to illness.
Present in February 1864.
Married Jennie Ellen Ector on July 24, 1873, in Robertson County,
TX.
Died in 1923.
