Moved with family to Lockhart, Caldwell County, TX in 1847.
Possibly resided at Gonzales, Gonzales County, TX in 1860.
Mustered into Company E at Houston, TX on September12, 1861.
Elected 2nd Lieutenant.
Received gunshot wound to knee during the charge at Fallen Timbers near Shiloh,
TN on April 8, 1862.
Assisted by M. A. Hunter, Co. E, after Shiloh
battle.
Returned to TX.
Died April 23, 1862 due to battle wounds and resulting pneumonia.
Buried in the Storey family plot at Lockhart, TX.
