Captured at Murfreesboro, TN on December 31, 1862.
May have escapted and been recaptured.
Captured at Gibson, TN in February 1863.
Forwarded to St. Louis, MO, then to Alton, IL in March 1863.
Forwarded to City Point, VA in April 1863 and exchanged.
Present in April 1863.
May have joined another TX unit - records show resignation from McKee's Co.
TX Rangers in October 1863 as 1st Lieutenant (Jones Roster).
Claiborne indicates he died of wounds in 1864.
