Suffered gunshot wounds to upper right arm and side, lodging in his shoulder,
at Murfreesboro, TN on July 13, 1862.
Promoted to 5th Sergeant by August 1862.
Acted on detached service from August 1862 to April 1863 (Bunting).
Promoted to Assistant Quartermaster in November 1862.
Promoted to Captain in December 1862.
Wounded at Farmington, TN; Jones Roster indicates likely in October 1863.
Present in July 1864.
Promoted to Major in engineering department in March 1865.
Member of Terry Lodge, Regimental Masonic Chapter.
