Mustered into Company B at Austin County, TX on March 12, 1862.
Present in January 1863.
Suffered a wound to the thumb near Newnan, GA on July 30, 1864.
Paroled at Demopolis, AL on August 18, 1865.
Married Mary Matthews.
Proprieter (?) of Corner Drug Store in 1917. (offsite link)
Applied for Confederate Pension (#34773) on October 25, 1917 at Dallas County, TX.
Resided in the Confederate Home in 1931.
Died December 16, 1931 at the Texas Confederate Home at Austin, TX.
Buried at Bellville, Austin County, TX.
