Mustered into Company F at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Discharged in December 1861 due to measles, inguinal dibility and diarrhea.
Described as 5'11" with blue eyes, light hair, and "florid"
complexion.
Enlisted in the 5th Texas Cavalry, Company A on October 18, 1862 at Columbus,
TX.
Two of his brothers also served in the 5th Texas Cavalry.
Returned to TX after the war.
Resided in southwestern Fayette County, near the Gonzales County line.
Married Rosa Gosch during August 1872 in Gonzales, Gonzales County, TX.
Possibly moved from Fayette/Gonzales County to Lavaca County, TX.
Resided in Aransas County, TX in 1889 with his family.
Moved to Nueces County by November 1892.
Moved to Brownsville, Camron County, TX.
Possibly died in Brownsville, TX prior to November 1892.
