Born in AL around 1842.
Resided at Bastrop, Bastrop County, TX in 1860 with parents and five shiblings.

Mustered into Company D at Houston, TX on Sepbember 7, 1861.
Returned from absence of unknown duration in November 1862.
Ill but present in July 1863.
Absent and supposed captured by November 1863, following Wheeler's 1863 raid.
Captured with four other Rangers and executed by detachment of Union Colonel Stokes' 5th TN Cav. near Sparta, White County, TN on March 12, 1864.
