Born in Dallas County, AL around 1827.
Resided at Anderson, Grimes County, TX with his mother in 1860, occupied as a farmer.
Described as 5'11", light hair, florid complexion, and blue eyes.

Mustered into Company A at Washington County, TX on July 19, 1861, by J. D. Rogers.
Transferred (apparently) from unit that had served at Manassas battle in July 1861.
Discharged at Murfreesboro, TN in February 1862 due to bronchitis and chronic rheumatism.

Died in 1867.
