Born at Coweta County, GA on June 10, 1842.
Moved with family to TX in 1850.
Attended Baylor University.
Resided at Washigton County, TX.
Served six month's in Price's Army in MO.
Enlisted in Company A at Houston, TX on March 18, 1862 by Lt. W. A. Reeves
[Rieves?].
Listed as AWOL from September 1863 through at least February 1864.
Claimed to have been "detailed by Gen. E. Kirby Smith about 6 months
before end of war for care of a plantation."
Registered to vote at Milam County, TX on July 9, 1867.
Married Frances L. Rogers in 1868.
Resided at Adrian, TX with wife and daughter.

28, 1916.
Mrs. J.T. Randle App.#35139 Oldham County, TX approved May 18, 1918.
The original application for J.T. Randle includes an affidavit dated January 19, 1916 and signed by Geo W. Littlefield and W.R. Davis stating that they "served with him, saw him in the service and that applicant did not desert said service and served honorable during the civil war."
