Born August 25, 1834 near Elliot City, MD.
Resided in San Antonio, Bexar County, TX. Occupied as a stock raiser.
Mustered in with Company G on September 16, 1861 in Houston, TX.
Elected 2nd Seargent.
Reduced in rank to Private by August 1862.
Promoted to Lieutenant in B. F.White's Artillery Battery by November 1862
commanding some 15 rangers also in the battery.
Commanded B. F. White's artillery battery in December 1863.
Thought to have been captured in East Tenn. with two of his guns by February
1864 (according to Bunting).
Killed at Bandera, TX in 1880.
Mary Pue filed a CS pension claim (#49174) in Bandera County, TX.
