Mustered into Company A at Houston, TX on September 25, 1861.
Elected 3rd Corporal.
Reduced in rank to private by August 1862.
Wounded at Farmington, TN in October 1863.
Recuperating still in February 1864.
Discharged due to battle wounds.
Paroled at Memphis, TN, five days ending May 20, 1865 (Jones Roster).
