Acted as a Texas Ranger before the War; was a veteran of the War for Texas
Independence and the Mexican War.
Enlisted by Capt. Harrison in Falls County on Sep 10, 1861.
Mustered into Company A at Houston, TX on September 25, 1861.
Served as Farrier.
Discharged at Murfreesboro, TN (apparently), on February 26, 1862, due to
rheumation and chronic diarrhea.
Died about 1867 in Falls County, TX.
Brother-in-law of Jonathan Cochran Pool(e), Company A.
