Immigrated to U.S. in 1844.
Orphaned in 1846 and raised by Dr. White in Victoria, TX, according to death certificate.
Possibly resided in DeWitt County, TX. (Jones Roster)

Mustered into Company E at Houston, TX on September 12, 1861.
Present in February 1864.

Married Alice P. Blackwell on January 9, 1872 in DeWitt Coiunty, TX.
Settled in Irion County, TX in 1891.
Resided in Tom Green County after the war.
Died November 25, 1924 in Sherwood, Irion County, TX.
Buried November 25, 1924 in Mertzon, Irion County, TX.
