Philip Isaac Milton

April 26, 1840 - May 11, 1928


 

Born in AL on April 26, 1840.

Mustered into Company K at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Suffered broken leg when his horse fell on top of him at Farmington, TN, likely on October 7, 1863, and left at a house to recover.
Recovered sufficiently to travel to Lincoln County, TN by March 1864.
Jones Roster indicates that other records suggest he was captured and imprisoned to war's end.

Died May 11, 1928.
Buried at Newton City Cemetery, Killebrew Street, Newton, Dale County, AL.
