Born in TX on February 14, 1844.
Resided in Columbia, Brazoria County, TX.

Mustered into Company B at "Ransom's Place" (probably in middle TN) on January 14, 1863 by Lieutenant Fulkerson or Captain McKay.
Possibly reached regiment in December 1862 prior to the Murfreesboro battle.

Died near Fairfield, TN on March 18, 1863 due to Typhoid Fever and congestion of the brain.
