Born in TX on September 6, 1841.
Resided at San Marcos, Hays County, TX in 1860 with parents and seven siblings; occuped as a student.

Mustered into Company D at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Sent ill to Nashville, TN by December 1861.
Discharged in January 1862 due to illness.
Jones Roster indicates he may have rejoined the regiment, given reported (but very likely erroneous) reference to being killed at Farmington, TN in October 1863.

Died November 17, 1916.
