Born at Winston County, MS on December 14, 1838.
Raised at Madison College, Madison County, MS.
Received education at Madison County, MS.
Arrived in TX in 1858.

Mustered into Company K at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Promoted (possibly) to Captain by February 1864.
Received furlough by February 1864.
Absent due to furlough by January 1865.

Studied medicine after the war.
Graduated from the American Medical College of St. Louis, MO in 1875.
Practiced medicine in Washington County, TX until 1880.
Moved to Caldwell, Burleson County, TX in 1880, and continued practicing medicine there.

Died July 13, 1927.
