(Re)captured at Arkansas Post, AK in January 1863.
Forwarded to Camp Butler.
Exchanged (apparently).
Returned to Regiment by May 1863.
Promoted to 3rd Lieutenant in July 1863.
Promoted to 1st Lieutenant by November 1863.
In Command of Company by December 1863.
Promoted to Captain in November 1864.
Commanded the Rangers in the Battle of Bentonville.
Commanded Regiment in April 1865.
Wounded twice.
Died December 7, 1881.
Buried at Atkinson Cemetery, Chappell Hill, Washington County, TX.
