Born at TX around 1841.
Resided at Gonzales, Gonzales County, TX in 1860 with parents and two siblings;
occupied as a student.
Mustered into Company I at Houston, TX on September 11, 1861.
Elected 3d Sergeant.
Hospitalized during winter 1861-1862 due to measles and typhoid fever.
Wounded slightly at Shiloh, TN on April 6, 1862.
Captured near Lebanon Junction, KY in September 1862.
Forwarded to Camp Chase, OH or Louisville, KY, reported by Bunting as paroled.
Exchanged at Vicksburg, MS in November 1862.
Suffered accidental shot in the foot by a six shooter in March or April 1863.
Reduced in rank to private by April 1863.
Absent wounded by April 1863.
Present by August 1863, but on crutches due to foot wound.
Present in February 1864.
Killed at Gonzales, Gonzales County, TX in 1869 by W. H. Baltzell, Co. I.
