Born in MA around 1839.
Resided in Goliad City, Goliad County, TX.

Mustered in with Company C in Houston, TX on September 12, 1861.
Elected 3rd Corporal.
Promoted to 5th Seargent by August 1862.
Wounded and hospitalized at Rome, GA in October 1863.
Listed as present in February 1864.
Fell from his jorse and severly sprained shoulder on the banks of the Holston River, TN during Wheeler's raid in the fall of 1864.

Reportedly "returned to Beeville, where he engaged in the mercantile business for while, later going to Marshall, Texas, where he died of yellow fever."
Died by 1882.
