Albert T. Kibbe

~1843 - 1866


 

His uncle, William Kibbe, enlisted in Captain Logan's company march 6 and served until June 6, 1836.

A. T. Kibbe appears on the May 1861 muster roll for the Victoria Blues, Company A, 24th Brigade.

Albert T. Kibe of Victoria County, Texas. Enlisted with Company G of Terry's Rangers on September 16, 1861 at age 17. He suffered from illness early in the war and transferred to the Washington artillery battery in October 1863.

Assigned to 5th Company of Washington Light Artillery, missing at Missionary Ridge on November 25, 1863.

He was captured and paroled by August 1865. He died in Victoria County, TX in 1866.
