Born in Indiana around 1840.
His Family emigrated to Texas Between 1846 and 1850, first settling in Liberty
County.
Resided at Galveston, Galveston County, TX in 1860 with parents and three
siblings; occupied as a clerk.
Mustered into Company H at Houston, TX on July 23, 1862 by Capt. Houston.
Promoted to 4th Corporal by May 1863.
Member of Shannon's Scouts.
Present with Shannon's Scouts in December 1864.
Returned to Co. H from Shannon's Scouts in April 1865.
Died in 1875.
