Born in TX on July 14, 1841.
Resided at Fayetteville, Fayette County, TX in 1860 with father and six siblings; occupied as a student.

Mustered into Company F at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Captured in KY in October 1862 and paroled (but not exchanged) to at least December 1862.
Left at Farmington, TN in October 1863, possibly to tend to wounded S. L. Jarmon, Co. F.
Present in February 1864.
Present in March 1865.
Member of Shannon's Scouts.

Cousin of S. L. Jarmon, Co. F, and W. R. Jarman, Co. F.
