Assisted wounded H. E. Storey, Co. E, following
Shiloh battle.
Reduced in rank to private by November 1862.
Sustained flesh wound at Dandridge, TN, probably in January 1864 (Jones Roster).
Hospitalized near "Broysville," TN by February 1864 to about May
1864 due to wounds.
Returned to regiment upon recovery.
