Born in AL around 1840.
Resided at Richmond, Fort Bend County, TX in 1860 with G. Cooke, Co. H, and J. Thompson, Co. H.
Described as 5'8" with light hair, fair complexion, and blue eyes.

Mustered into Company H at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Promoted to 2nd Corporal in May 1863.
Present as 2nd Corporal in March 1864.
Apparently reduced in rank to private by war's end (Jones Roster).
Paroled at Montgomery, AL on June 12, 1865.
