Born at MS around 1828.
Resided in Gonzales, Gonzales County, TX in 1860 with wife and four children (apparently).

Mustered into Company I at Houston, TX on September 11, 1861.
Elected 2nd Lieutenant.
Promoted to 1st Lieutenant by January 27, 1862.
Recruited for regiment in TX during spring (possibly March) of 1862.
Promoted to Captain on May 7, 1862.
Killed in skirmish near railroad trestle along Elk River, near Bethel, TN on May 9, 1862.
