occupied as a planter.
Mustered into Company L at Corinth, MS on April 1, 1862 by Col. Wharton.
Elected 1st Lieutenant.
Sent to Mobile, AL by late June 1862 due to illness.
Remained with regiment beyond the 90-day enlistment term.
Transferred to Co. H.
Served as 1st Lieutenant to Co. H by October 1864.
