Mustered into Company I at Houston, TX on September 11, 1861.
Hospitalized at Houston, TX in early 1862.
Returned to duty in March 1862.
Appointed to Company Quartermaster by March 1862.
Shot and killed by R. D. Carpenter, Co. I, at Scottsville, Allen County, KY in September 1862.
