Reportedly the first to kill a Union soldier. (Claiborne)

Flewellen.
Deed Records of Lavaca County, TX show a deed to J. F. Fluellin on March 29,
1859, but he conveyed the property the same day.
Deed Records show 1870 deed to J. T. Flewellen.
Jefferson Franklin Flewellen died in Lavaca County, TX on March 12, 1882,
survived by wife, Jennie, and children.
1850 Census shows Wm. Fluellen, 23, GA, Jacob Fluellen, 20, GA, and Jeptha
Fluellen, 17, GA.
1870 Census shows Jeptha Fluallin who is from AL.
1880 Census shows Frank Flewellyn from AL.
