Elected 3rd Lieutenant.
Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant by January 27, 1862.
Commanded company by July 1862.
Promoted to 1st Lieutenant in August 1862.
Wounded at Murfreesboro, TN on December 31, 1862 and captured.
Died at Camp Douglas Feb. 24, 1863.
