Mustered into Company L at Corinth, MS on April 1, 1862, by Col. Wharton.
Acted as 4th Corporal.
Suffered wound to arm during the dismounted skirmish action supporting Ketchum's
Battery at Shiloh, TN on April 6, 1862.
Discharged (apparently) due to battle wounds.
