Mustered into Company L at Corinth, MS on April 1, 1862 by Col. Wharton.
Listed as AWOL by May 1862.
Reenlisted at Shelbyville, TN in Company H on March 10, 1863, sworn in by Lt. Weston.
Listed as AWOL by October 1863, and Macmurphy indicates he deserted.
Captured at Chapel Hill, TN in May 1864.
Forwarded to Camp Morton, IN.
Transferred for exchange to Baltimore, MD and Point Lookout, MD in February 1865.
Paroled at Wharton County, TX in June 1865.

Died by 1882.
