Born in "Austro-Hungary" in 1813 (or possibly 1826).
Emigratd to the United States in 1850.
Resided in Houston, Harris County, TX in 1860 with wife and one child.
Mustered into Company K at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Elected 4th Sergeant.
Promoted to Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant in October 1861.
Discharged in December 1861 due to hemorrhoids and nervous rheumatism.
Acted as Chief Clerk in the City Assessor's and Collectors Office, at Houston, TX, from about 1878-1893.
Died in Houston, TX on February 7, 1893 as a result of being struck by a train.
