Mustered into Company H at Corinth, MS on April 1, 1862 by Capt. Cook.
Received gunshot wounds to neck and back during the Sunday afternoon encounter
with the enemy near the boggy ravine at Shiloh, TN on April 6th, 1862.
Absent by January 1863 due to illness.
Published as a deserter on May 30, 1863.
Present by December 1863.
Captured near Talbot's STation or Morristown, TN in January 1864.
Forwarded to Rock Island, IL in January 1864.
Exchanged at City Point, VA in March 1865.
Hospitalized at Richmond, VA in Marcn 1865.
