Enlisted with Company B on April 12, 1862 in Corinth, MS by Capt. McKay.
Recieved a slight wound to the shoulder at Murfreesboro, TN on July 13, 1862.
Detached with Capt. Steel of ""2nd Mounted Tex. Rangers"" by August 1862 to at least April 1863.
Listed as present in April 1863.
Promoted to Sgt. and squad commander by June 64.
Promoted to Regimental Quartermaster Clerk
Apparently promoted to Lt. by spring 1865
Paroled at Selma, AL in June 1865.
