moved to Texas around 1837

Enlisted as a Private in Company E on September 12, 1861 in Houston, TX. Listed as Missing at Knoxville, TN in November 1863 and as AWOL by February 1864. Rejoined the regiment and served till the end of the war. Parolled in Charlotte, NC on May 3, 1865.

Law partner with George W. O'Brien
