Received gunshot wound to face at Mt. Washington, KY in October 1862.
Captured at Bardstown, KY in October 1862.
Paroled in October 1862 and sent to Louisville for 3 weeks.
Exchanged in Vicksburg in November 1862.
Discharged in February 1863 due to battle wounds - the minnie ball lodged
in the orbital plate of his skull.
Graber states that he lived to "a good old age" after the war and
raised a large family.
Ran a successful cotton gin near Bryan, TX.
