Born in KY around 1828.
Resided at Chappell Hill, Washington County, TX in 1860; occupied as a blacksmith.
Described as 5'11" with light hair, light complextion, and blue eyes.
Mustered into Company K at Houston, TX on September 7, 1861.
Acted as blacksmith.
Suffered gunshot wound to side and left arm, causing compound fracture, at
Murfreesboro, TN on July 13, 1862.
Recovered nearby to at least September 1862.
Discharged on November 25,1862, possibly due to previous battle wounds.
Received clothing commutation in April 1864; thus may have rejoined the regiment.
Member of Terry Lodge, Regimental Masonic Chapter.
