Resided in Columbus, Colorado county, TX where he worked as a farm manager with Father and two siblings.

Mustered in with company F on September 7, 1861in Houston, TX.
Discharged during winter 1861-62.
Reenlisted in Co. I at Jackson, MSby J. F. Miller in May 1862.
Discharged in Agust 1862.
Apperantly reenlisted in Company F at an unknown date.
Listed as AWOL by June 1863.
Present in October 1863.
Said to be in the Louisville, Blount County, TN area in December 1863.
Regaining Regiment from absence of unknown duration.
P resent in February 1864.
Apparently present in May 1864 (records may refer to different individual)
Captured and paroled at Athens, GA on May 8, 1865
May have been paroled in June 1865 at an ubknown location.
Described as "5'11" with dark hair, dark complexion and blue eyes.
