Born in SC around 1830.
Possibly resided in San Antonio, Bexar County, TX in 1860.
Mustered into Company G at Houston, TX on September 16, 1861.
Left ill near Mitchellville, TN during the retreat from KY in February 1862.
(Claiborne records that he was promoted in Febrauary 1862.)
Returned to the regiment quickly.
Present in March 1864.
Died of cholera in 1866.
